Shrimp and Potato Pancakes

To the people who are re-blogging this post saying “omg it’s not kosher.”  No where in this title, or post gives the impression that it is a kosher recipe.  Please find a recipe blog that suits you.  This blog are for people who enjoy recipes.

You’ll need
6 oz shrimp cut up into small pieces (drained)
1 1/2 pounds shreaded potatoes (soaked in cold water for 1 hour and drained)
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 medium onion diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon herb de provence
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 cups Cooking oil of your choice

In a large bowl combine all the ingredients except the flour. Once everything is well combined, add the flour and mix until the flour is completely absorbed.

In a skillet heat oil on medium heat, once the oil is hot place large rounded tablespoons of the potato batter into the oil. Using a spatula, pat the top of the pancake to flatten it a bit. Cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove and place into a wire rack to drain all of the excess oil and serve.
