Easy Cast Iron Dump Mac and Cheese




Ingredients:
1 pound elbow noodles (cooked for 6 minutes) do not rinse you want them hot
8 oz cream cheese room temp
6 tablespoon unsalted butter
3/4 cup 2% milk (you can use whole or skim)
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour cream
5 cups cheese (mozzarella, colby, cheddar and white cheddar) I use a little of each
1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven 450 degrees

1.  In a large bowl, combine noodles, cream cheese and butter.  Mix until combined.
2.  Add milk, sour cream, 4 cups of the shredded cheese, salt, and pepper; mix until combined.
3.  Add beaten eggs; mix until combined
4.  Pour into greased 10 inch cast iron skillet & cover with lightly greased tin foil.
5.  Put the pan into the oven and reduce the temperature to 400 degrees F.  Bake for 45 minutes.
6.  Remove foil and bake for 20 minutes more.
7.  Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
