Taco Puff Pastry Sliders

You’ll need:
1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
18 puff pastry shells, cut in half through the middle.
1 package of taco seasoning
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 cup water
1 green bell pepper chopped
1 red bell pepper chopped
1 onion chopped

In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until no longer, using a wooden spoon to break the meat a part. Drain the fat from the pan, saving 1 tablespoon.

Return the pan to the stove on high heat, stirring to prevent the turkey from burning; then add the onions and peppers. Cook for 1 minute constantly stirring. Then add the remaining ingredients, stir until the taco seasoning and cornstarch is dissolved and the meat is well coated. Reduce the heat to medium, then cover with a lid and cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until most of the water is gone.

In a bowl combine the meat mixture with desired amount of cheese, mix until the cheese has melted. Spoon on a couple of tablespoons of the meat onto the puff pastry, then cover with the top half of the pastry shell. Then serve.
