Grilling: Barbecue Ribs

Delicious homemade Barbecue Ribs on the grill, made fast and easy.  Just basic ingredients, easy to prepare and you'll spend less time in the kitchen.  Besides, the sauce is what makes the ribs right?  I'll have a Barbecue Sauce recipe that I am developing.

But for now, here is the recipe.  No measuring required.

Go get:
1 5lb slab pork ribs (cleaned, trimmed, membrane removed)
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Garlic Powder to taste

Barbecue Sauce (of your choice)

1. Season both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.  Just a decent sprinkling and massage everything in.  Main rule of thumb, don't use more than 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt per side.  Cover and allow to stand 45 minutes to an hour.

2. Prepare charcoal grill and place ribs onto grill rack, cover and do not disturb for 45 minutes.

3. After 45 minutes, flip and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes.  Once internal temp reaches 165 degrees F. base both sides with barbecue sauce and cook covered for 5 more minutes.

4. Remove from grill, slice and base again with more barbecue sauce and place ribs onto the grill inside a grill safe and cook for 5 more minutes.
