You’ll need:
1 pound thinly sliced top round (cut into 1 inch pieces across the grain)
3 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 pound broccoli, blanched (tops only)
3 tablespoons high-heat cooking oil (canola, vegetable, rice)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
Stir Fry Sauce
6 tablespoons oyster sauce
4 tablespoons rice wine
4 teaspoons Chinese black vinegar
2 1/2 teaspoons honey
1. In a bowl, combine the stea, soy sauce, cornstarch and onion powder. Allow it to marinate for 15 minutes.
2. In another bowl mix together all the ingredients for the sauce, set aside.
3. In a extremly hot wok add 2 tablespoons of oil and the beef. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink. Remove from the wok and wipe the wok clean.
4. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the wok. Once the oil is hot, add the broccoli. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
5. Add the stir fry sauce and cook until the sauce bubbles.
6. Add the beef and garlic to the pan and mix everything together, then serve on top of brown rice.
